Why?
The (In my opinion) less-than-mediocre Aki-Temco version of Assassins is being fully rewritten in a traditional format to fix the wooden narroration, the constant spelling and consistancy errors, the utter lack of character background, the 1-page chapters, the confusing plot holes, the overdramatic sappiness, the lazy cliffhangers, the lack of description and background on the setting, the choppy script format, the overemphasis on the anime/manga style, the randomly added filler battles, the annoying character descriptions, and just about every other reason you could think of.
Please wait for the REAL version of the story to come out instead of reading this one!

When?
As soon as the series ends at Chapter 60! When the pageviews stop adding up, that tells me that it isn't being read anymore and it's time to go. I expect Assassins to finish in April, so either April or June. The rewrite is well underway.

The rewrite will be worth checking out even for those who stuck with Assassins the whole time. Among the stylistic changes, the new version will further flesh out the story and subplots. Some characters will be added and ommited, and there will be more emphasis on the histories of minor characters such as Amla, Tenso, Shen and Mai.
The many new scenes include the secret battle that took place in Chapter 11, the fates of Maki and Ryuji, Narya's dark past, Venom's fall from the Order of Assassins, and the still murky secrets of the enigmatic Shion Kusanagi.

After the deletion, this account will be for my experimental work.
